Teaching
With 16 years of experience teaching private lessons, group classes, chamber music, and masterclasses, I bring extensive knowledge and a personalized approach to every lesson. I am dedicated to working with musicians from diverse socio-economic backgrounds and fostering cross-cultural collaboration. My goal is to empower musicians to build confidence in their problem-solving skills while pursuing musical and technical excellence in a supportive environment.
Connection
Music strengthens our communication abilities, both verbal and non-verbal, helping us to better understand ourselves, others, and the world around us. By fostering connections through music, we can transcend boundaries and engage in cross-cultural collaborations, building friendships and bonds that can last a lifetime.
Curiosity
What makes music speak to you? How does your body fit with the cello so you can feel comfortable and capable? What techniques can we refine so that you can play the music the way you want to?
Every new challenge can be solved with an open mind and a spirit of inquiry!
Confidence
With a strong technical foundation and curated learning trajectories, my students develop trust in themselves and their abilities. The musical freedom and personal growth that is gained through the months and years of study is a tangible reminder that dedication and practice lead to self-awareness, resilience, and positive self-image.
Who do I
work with?
Everyone.
Whether you are picking up a cello for the first time or have been playing for many years, I am thrilled to teach students of all backgrounds and experience levels. I work with children, teenagers, adults, and neurodivergent individuals in private lessons, chamber music coachings, group classes, and masterclasses. I believe anyone can play an instrument given the right time, attention, and environment!
